ZenGengo allows all Plus level users to pair a ZenGengo folder with a Google Classroom class. In order to do this, the user must first connect their account to the desired Google Classroom account via the account settings screen.
After your account has been linked to a Google Classroom account, you can choose which folder to pair to which Google Classroom class.
Navigate to the folder you would like to pair and then click on the "Submission Settings" button:
In the next screen that appears, you will see the option to pair the folder with one of your available Google Classroom classes. Check the "Pair this folder with Google Classroom" option, and then select the required class from the list:
Next, click on the "Save" button to initiate the synchronization:
When pairing a folder to Google Classroom:
- Students will be required to log in with their connected Google Classroom account in order to submit assignments.
- Grades in the associated Google class will be automatically updated when a student submits an assignment.
- Assignments that have not been posted to the paired class cannot be submitted.
- Lessons and Courses cannot be created.
To post assignments to the paired Google Classroom class, or later remove them, check the required assignments and then click on the "Sync with GC" button:
In the next window, choose whether to post or remove the selected assignments:
N.B. Pairing a folder with Google Classroom is not the same as requiring students to sign in with Google or Microsoft. When a folder is paired with a Google Classroom class, only members of the specified class will be able to submit assignments.
