There are four different modes of submission for ZenGengo assignments:
- completely anonymous submissions
- requiring students to input their details on submission
- required students to login with Google or Microsoft
- requiring students to select their name from a pre-defined list of submitters
This article explains how to make submissions completely anonymous.
When embedding ZenGengo activities into other websites, you may wish for the submission to be completely anonymous. In this case, the student will be able to submit the activity without logging in at all.
Anonymous submissions are enabled at a folder level, so you will first need to navigate to the folder that contains the assignment you wish to be submitted anonymously. Within this folder, click on the "Submission settings" button:
Next, ensure the "Anonymous submissions" option is checked:
With anonymous submissions, you also have the option to purge submissions after 24 hours, by checking this option under the "Anonymous submissions" option.
Finally, click on the "Save" button to apply your settings:
Remember that these settings apply to all assignments and lessons created within the specified folder.
