Create and preview assignments

1. Open a folder from the teacher dashboard.
2. Choose an available assignment type.
3. Enter a title, instructions, and the content requested by the editor.
4. Review the assignment’s options, such as limits, answers, or submission notifications.
5. Select Save, then Preview to check the student experience.
6. Use the assignment’s link control to share it with students, or add it to a lesson.

Available types for new assignments

Audio Recording, Written Report, Text Gap Fill, Text To Test, Multi Choice, Vocab Test, and Content Page.

Text and listening activities

For Text Gap Fill, enter your text and select the gaps in the editor. Use the text-to-speech options shown in the activity to add listening practice, and preview the result before sharing. Available voices and options depend on the activity.

New Video Gap Fill, Video Recording, and Speaking Drill assignments are no longer available. See Changes to assignment features for existing content.
