Export courses and save records
Download a course file and keep copies of student results.
Export a course file
- Open your teacher Account page.
- Find Migrate Courses.
- Select a course from the list.
- Select Migrate to download a JSON file containing the course, its lessons, and the assignments in those lessons.
If the list is empty, first check that you have created a course. Standalone assignments outside its lessons are not included in that course export.
Save student records separately
A course export is teaching content, not a backup of student submissions. Download grades using the folder gradebook’s Download CSV control or an assignment’s Download Scores option.
For Audio Recording, Written Report, and existing Video Recording submissions, open Submissions → View List and use the available data-download control. Check your downloads before deleting content or changing access.
