Unlock a course with an access card
Understand Join Codes, redeem codes, and course access.
A Join Code adds you to your teacher’s course. A Redeem Code from an access card unlocks paid course content. They are different codes.
- Sign in to the Student Portal.
- If the course is missing, select Join a Course and enter your teacher’s Join Code.
- Find the course and select Unlock Now.
- Enter the complete Redeem Code shown on your card, including its prefix and hyphen. Remove any extra spaces.
- Select Unlock Course. Return to your courses and choose Study Now.
If the code is rejected
Check that the card is for the course you selected and that you are signed in with the intended student account. Do not try to redeem the same card under several accounts.
Contact support with the textbook or course name, registered email, exact code, and error message. Keep your code private; do not post it on a public page.
If a course says Restricted, ask your teacher about access.
