Play and record audio

Playing audio

Press the play control on the page. Check your device volume and the output device: sound may be going to Bluetooth headphones or a disconnected speaker. On a phone, also check silent mode. Try the page again in your main browser.

Recording audio

1. Connect a microphone or use your device’s built-in microphone.
2. Open the assignment and start the recording control.
3. Allow microphone access when your browser asks.
4. Record in a quiet place, then stop and listen to your recording.
5. Complete the submission step on the page and wait for it to finish before closing the tab.

If microphone access is blocked

Open the browser’s permissions for the ZenGengo page and allow the microphone. Also check your device’s privacy settings and selected input device, then reload the assignment before recording again.
